Short story: The Coupon Man.

*This is a fiction story. Characters are not real, but their names are pretty real.

Interviewer: Sir, can you introduce yourself? Name, age, occupation, and hobbies.
Interviewee: Hello, my name is Mike Parker. I'm 37, my occupation is a stay at home father, and my hobbies includes cleaning, cooking, playing house and helping my kids with their homework. And I also coupon on the side, but only when I have time.
Interviewer: Why do you coupon?
Mike: I coupon for my family and friends. I personally didn't have a lot growing up, but I have just enough from couponing that I give it away to family and friends. And some time, I even help out strangers. Because others don't have what I have. A roof over my head, a working car, a decent job, a wonderful partner, and my lovely kids.
Interviewer: Okay, and why do you believe Walter's Day Care is the right place for you?
Mike: Well, you see in the world we live in today, being stable means gaining experience rather than getting a degree. I have years of experience from my kids and some might say that that is not experience. But they're wrong getting married, having a family, watching your kids, girl or boy, take their first step, say their first word, looking for you when you're gone and so much more. Is a gift itself, but I believe that the first few years of a child's life are very important. I want to help them grow and learn the basic of life. And not everyone has a role model.
Interviewer: Well, Mr. Parker, I see you're pretty passionate. Give us some time to think it over and we'll contact you shortly. And I, too, believe that the first years of any child's life are important. Thank you, and good luck.
Mike: Thank you for the chance. And see you soon. (Stand up and shake Interviewers' hand).

Story lesson: No matter who you are, what you do, only you can define yourself.
